Senior) HR Project Specialist – Strengthen Sickness & Wellbeing Management

In 2026, "Strengthen Sickness & Wellbeing Management" is a top-tier People Strategic Priority. Following 2025 operating model changes, this program is focused on recovering productive capacity and embedding accountability across the organization. We are seeking a senior-level HR professional for a hands-on assignment through the end of the year to execute critical workstreams within this strategic program.

Role - Senior HR Project Specialist Mode - Hybrid Location - Amsterdam Type - Contract Mandatory - RFP Management for Strengthen Sickness & Wellbeing Management, Deep understanding of Dutch sickness law and HR frameworks (especially Wet Verbetering Poortwachter), Take full ownership of project delivery within the sickness & wellbeing program, Handle multi-tasking across process improvement, RfPs, communications, and reporting

Role Purpose Working directly for the Program Leads (Eline Snabel-Steinmetz & Boaz Saam) and in close collaboration with the Program Manager, you will take ownership of delivery of key projects. You will provide the "boots on the ground" necessary to move from strategy to operational reality, ensuring our sickness management infrastructure is robust and future-proof.

Key Responsibilities include; RFP Management: Execute a Request for Proposal process for an ArboDienst (Occupational Health & Safety) vendor.

This includes: Facilitate input from internal stakeholders to align diverse needs into one unified set of requirements and KPIs. Executing the tender process in partnership with Procurement; Partner with the Program Lead to drive the consultation process for the WoCo, managing documentation and proactively addressing concerns to secure consent. Operating Model Transition: Support the practical shift between the new model and daily reality. Align support layers to ensure all cases are handled at the right level while strictly avoiding double work. Process Refinement: Identify and fix friction points in our internal sickness processes. Refine workflows to ensure support is placed in the right layer—balancing manager accountability with enhanced back-end support—to keep cases moving forward. Operational Execution : Beyond project management, you will handle the necessary "heavy lifting"—from drafting internal communications and guidance to supporting regular updates, providing data and employee support materials.

Your Profile Senior HR Expertise: You possess strong HR knowledge and are familiar with the Dutch sickness landscape (Wet Verbetering Poortwachter). Transformation Mindset:

You are comfortable with change and know how to maintain momentum during organisational shifts.

Vendor & Tender Experience:

You have experience managing/working with external service providers and a solid understanding of service-level agreements (SLA). Experience selecting vendors or leading an RfP is a plus Strategic Execution & Hands-on Onwership: You bring the seniority required to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and drive workstreams independently, combined with a pragmatic approach to executing the operational tasks necessary to deliver the program’s goals.
