full-time Import/Export Coordinator (sea freight)! We are Bridge Polymers, a company that specializes in the distribution of plastic raw materials. Our warehouses are full of… Material! We sell this to our end customers for their manufacturing needs. On the other hand, we work with major petrochemical companies as our suppliers. Our main market focus is on selling polyethylene and polypropylene. Bridge Polymers operates in several countries, with subsidiaries in Spain, Poland, Romania, and Turkey, but the headquarters is based in the Netherlands. The market we operate in is highly dynamic. Our company’s open, honest, and direct mindset helps us act quickly and efficiently, always staying informed about what’s happening in the market. About the role Handling import and export orders operationally for assigned customers worldwide. Working with the Trade department to ensure professional and efficient execution of purchase and sales orders. Coordinating and monitoring loading and delivery times, identifying delays or other issues, and responding appropriately. Arranging sea freight and preparing the documentation required for import and export shipments, in close consultation with suppliers, customers, and carriers. Coordinating with customs offices around the world to receive/send the correct documents on time. Monitoring the order process from pickup to invoicing. Maintaining contact with suppliers and transport/logistics service providers. Your profile You have at least a completed MBO level 3–4 or HBO education. You have at least 3 years of experience with sea/ocean freight import/export. You are fluent in English. You are a go-getter/motivator, decisive, confident and can switch tasks quickly. You enjoy ad hoc situations and know how to keep a cool head. Currently residing in the Netherlands within commuting distance (approx. 1 hour) of Eindhoven Eligible to work in the Netherlands Interested?
