Full Stack Developer

Position Full-Stack Developer (first in‑house tech hire) located at the Herengracht in the center of Amsterdam. We are looking for a developer to lead our technical development and help shape our innovative marketplace to make work accessible for everyone globally.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications with a focus on performance and user experience.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of applications.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or similar.

Technical Requirements

Proficiency in PHP and the Symfony framework.

Experience with TypeScript and React.

Knowledge of databases, particularly MySQL.

Understanding of RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience Requirements

>5 years work experience with mainstream frameworks.

Proven track record of developing full‑stack applications.

Experience in AI integration and database management.

Demonstrated ability to work on complex projects from concept to deployment.

Experience in managing and deploying applications in cloud environments.

Soft Skills
