About the role We’re looking for an Account Manager to support and lead selected global projects, working closely with customers and internal Symrise teams. This role is based in Wageningen and makes full use of our on‑site collaboration with partners and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead customer projects from brief to delivery

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across functions

Drive growth in assigned regions and product categories

Deliver clear presentations that show our capabilities and solutions

Handle customer issues quickly and professionally

Coordinate internal teams to meet customer priorities

Ensure smooth handover from scale‑up to production, including forecasting and supply chain alignment

Track KPIs like sales, gross profit, and win rate

Qualifications

Degree in Business, Marketing, Food Technology or similar

At least 3 years of commercial experience managing complex customer relationships

Experience in culinary applications or the food industry

Additional language skills – German or Dutch preferred – are a plus

Strong project management and communication skills

Comfortable working with multicultural teams

Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CX and EIS
