Purpose of Position The Compliance Senior Analyst is responsible for serving as the Senior Compliance SME focal point for the Europe & Asia region, based in our Rotterdam office. The role supports the Global Core Compliance Team with transitioning regionally managed procedures, leading compliance work streams, and executing projects with high sensitivity to regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities

Provide core compliance support and engage with local leadership across corporate and plant environments.

Respond to inquiries regarding Braskem Compliance policies, ensuring alignment with local laws and company standards.

Deliver training and communications on compliance goals and initiatives throughout the organization.

Support investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting for regionally specific compliance matters.

Monitor and enforce compliance controls, including incident tracking, corrective action, and communication with leaders.

Identify and monitor compliance risks and propose continuous improvement solutions.

Act as the point of contact for internal and external audits related to compliance.

Maintain KYC/KYS due diligence processes and support digital compliance tools and documentation.

Technical / Management Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree in Compliance or related field; 3–10 years of experience in compliance, internal audit, finance, or similar regulatory area.

Knowledge of anti‑bribery and anti‑corruption laws such as FCPA and UKBA; familiarity with SOX, AML, and ABAC controls.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, Power Automate, and other data analytics tools.

English business fluent; proficiency in Portuguese, German, Spanish, or Dutch is a plus.

Strong interpersonal and cross‑functional communication skills, with an ability to drive continuous improvement and risk‑mitigating solutions.
