HSE Officer

Modulaire Group, a leading provider of modular housing solutions, is seeking an HSE Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring and monitoring the quality and safety of our services. You will advise and support the organisation in complying with current laws and regulations, acting as a trusted professional partner in the fields of quality and safety. The role

You will organise and participate in local improvement initiatives, including reviewing and updating existing processes to ensure compliance with corporate certifications such as VCA, ISO, and the Safety Culture Ladder across various industries. Additionally, you will support the Benelux QHSE Manager in coordinating and implementing initiatives for the Modulaire Group. Key Responsibilities

Planning & Organisation: Scheduling and managing regular QHSE tasks. Administration: Performing administrative duties to support HSE policies and objectives. Compliance: Ensuring adherence to industry-specific corporate certifications. Training: Developing, delivering, and supporting SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) training and instructions. Inspections: Conducting and documenting inspection and observation rounds at Modulaire Group locations. Process Improvement: Implementing operational improvement projects for local management. Fieldwork: Initiating project site visits for inspections and attending periodic safety meetings with supply chain partners. Daily Tasks

Supervising and supporting the procurement, maintenance, and use of work equipment, as well as collective and personal protective equipment (PPE). Providing advice and instruction regarding environmental factors, hazardous substances, fire prevention, and emergency procedures for immediate danger. Active participation in (international) safety meetings to exchange best practices and strengthen the safety culture within Modulaire Group. Maintaining professional relationships with clients' safety representatives. Visiting project sites to evaluate safety coordination and execution. Requirements

Knowledge and Education

Education: Minimum MBO level (e.g., Intermediate Safety Management/MVK or equivalent). Experience: At least 5 years of experience in QHSE. Certifications: Additional courses or training in safety, environment, and/or quality. Language: Dutch – Proficient (C1 or above), English – proficient, French – nice to have License: VCA-B (Preferred). Core Competencies

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio. Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset. High degree of independence, initiative, and integrity. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team.
