Validation Engineer

The Company A global leader in animal health with extensive operations across more than 150 markets, specializing in the development and manufacturing of vaccines, pharmaceutical products, and advanced bioprocessing technologies. The engineering division oversees global capital projects for production and R&D facilities.

About the Role This position provides technical expertise for the installation, commissioning, and qualification of parts washers, an autoclave, and multiple clean utility systems. Operating within a matrix organization, the role collaborates with a wide range of engineering disciplines, end-users, and external partners to ensure high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective project execution.

Responsibilities

Serve as Subject Matter Expert for parts washers, autoclaves, and clean utilities.

Support installation, commissioning, and qualification activities across assigned equipment and systems.

Build strong collaborations with internal engineering teams and end-user SMEs.

Maintain productive relationships with construction partners.

Participate in FAT activities at vendor sites when required.

Ensure designs and project execution follow quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Contribute to end-to-end project lifecycle, including handover and post-handover follow-up.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (Bio)Pharmaceutical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Food Technology.

Experience with parts washers, autoclaves, and clean utility systems.

Knowledge of GMP frameworks such as EudraLex Volume 4, EU GMP Annex 1, EHEDG, and ISPE guidelines.

Understanding of construction processes in pharma or food production environments.

Excellent English; Dutch preferred but not required.

Other Information

Travel required for vendor FATs and project needs.

Full‑time presence required in later project phases.
