Mechatronics Engineer/ High-Tech NPI Asssembly

We are looking for a hands-on engineer or strong technician, who enjoys working on

NPI (New Product Introduction) projects , where not everything is fully defined yet.

In this role, you work on complex high-tech modules for customers in the semiconductor, healthcare and analytical industries. You assemble, align and test advanced mechatronic products, combining mechanics, electronics, pneumatics and vacuum technology into complete functional systems.

Because these modules are often first-of-series products, you will frequently encounter situations where instructions are incomplete or still evolving. You actively look for solutions, analyse issues, and determine the best approach to make the system work. You collaborate closely with engineering, provide feedback, and help shape improvements throughout the NPI build.

What will you do? Assemble, integrate and test complex mechatronic modules based on drawings and work instructions. Work on NPI builds where you must determine the right assembly method, solve issues, and validate design choices. Identify technical obstacles, propose solutions and work with engineering to refine the product. Contribute to improvements in assembly methods and production processes. Represent production within customer-focused project teams. Support knowledge transfer and, if needed, train colleagues

What do we expect? Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or similar (experienced MBO4 candidates with strong practical skills are also welcome). 3–5 years of experience in high-precision mechatronic assembly. Hands-on experience with mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, vacuum technology and system alignment. Strong analytical abilities and an independent, problem-solving mindset—comfortable working with incomplete instructions. Experience with ESD and cleanroom procedures is a plus. Proactive, flexible and able to work effectively in small project teams
