Your role as Product Manager – Vegetables As Product Manager, you are responsible for the full scope of activities related to a defined group of vegetable categories – from market-driven procurement and weekly price negotiations to supporting the sales team and ensuring operational excellence. You’ll act as the link between suppliers, the sales department, and operational teams to keep everything running smoothly.

Your key responsibilities include:

Weekly price negotiations and procurement with local suppliers.

Creating weekly loading plans and placing supplier orders.

Promoting special offers to sales to drive volume and category growth.

Staying informed on production status and sharing updates proactively with internal stakeholders.

Coordinating between sales, planning and transport to ensure flawless execution.

Processing and sharing information via our internal systems.

Expanding product knowledge through field visits and trade fair participation.

What You Bring To The Table You are a hands-on, commercial professional with strong communication skills and a keen eye for opportunities. You’re data-driven, thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as part of a team.

Your background includes:

Minimum of 3-5 years’ sourcing experience within Dutch agricultural production; sales experience is a strong plus.

HBO or MBO+ level education.

Fluent in Dutch and English. German is a big advantage.

Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Analytical mindset and confident with data and reporting tools such as Excel.

Experience with ERP systems.

Willingness to travel (e.g., customer visits, trade shows, growers).

Flexible, resilient, solution-oriented and enthusiastic with a strong sense of responsibility.
