Taken our Product Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end project management of new product development, product modifications, packaging innovations, and product delistings.

This role ensures cross-functional coordination, timely execution, and alignment with company strategy to drive successful product launches and optimizations.

The position requires deep understanding of product lifecycles and cross-departmental collaboration.

Main responsibilities Project Management of New Product Development Complete project management of new products from ideation to market launch. Ensure smooth coordination across departments to meet product development goals and timelines.

Change Management of Existing Products Lead and manage modifications of existing products from kick off to implementation. Ensure cross-functional communication and department involvement for seamless transitions.

Product Delisting Management Ensure operational, sales, and supply chain readiness before product discontinuation.

Packaging Development & Optimization Manage the development of new packaging solutions, including:

Primary packaging

Secondary packaging

Tray boxes and displays

Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to drive sustainable and cost-effective packaging innovations.

Administration Ensure accuracy of data in the logistics table, IFS, maintaining precise and up-to-date records.

Prepare packaging instructions for individual products, cartons, and palletisation, based on supplier recommendations, packing line tests, and logistics testing results. Ensure internal approval and proper documentation.

Internal and External Interfaces Internal Project owners -

Align product timelines and strategies with commercial objectives

R&D/NPD Teams

- Collaborate on new product development and technological advancements.

Operations & Supply Chain

- Coordinate manufacturing feasibility and packaging implementation.

Quality Teams

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal guidelines.

Finance & Procurement

- Manage budget considerations for product development and packaging updates.

External Suppliers and Packaging Partners

- Drive innovation and efficiency in packaging solutions

Vereisten A minimum of a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food technology, Marketing, Business Administration, or another commercial field;

At least 5 years of experience in project management; preferably within FMCG industry;

You have excellent organisational & effective communication skills

You are structured, analytical, resourceful, detail-oriented, with a strong ownership mindset

Knowledge of packaging development is a plus

Fluent in Dutch and English, French or Spanish is a plus
