Solution Architect – VMware / Azure Local Eindhoven, Netherlands | Hybrid (3–4 days onsite/week) Contract – 12 Months

Role Overview Experienced Solution Architect to design, implement, and guide the migration of on-premises VMware environments to Microsoft Azure Local. The role ensures alignment with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and business objectives while leading infrastructure modernization initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design and document end-to-end solutions using VMware and Azure Local technologies. Assess existing environments and support migration readiness and baselining activities. Lead VMware to Azure Local workload migration strategy and execution. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, storage, networking, and application teams. Apply architectural best practices, governance frameworks, and design standards. Provide technical leadership across design, deployment, and operations phases. Required Skills & Experience 8–10+ years’ experience as a Solution Architect. Strong expertise in VMware virtualization technologies. Solid experience with Microsoft Azure Local services. Proven VMware to Azure Local migration experience. Strong knowledge of hybrid networking (CISCO ACI), IAM, and security models. Ability to produce HLD and LLD documentation in English. Fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken). Strong stakeholder communication and collaborative mindset.
