Quantbox is a technology-driven Proprietary trading firm that specializes in systematic alpha research and electronic market‑making on various exchanges. We trade across a multitude of asset classes and trading venues with significant market share. We are looking to appoint a Junior Quantitative Researcher/Trader.

What you’ll need:

You possess a bachelor's degree / Phd in mathematics, computer science, statistics, physics, or a related field

Ability to think independently and use a creative approach in problem solving

Familiarity with python, C++, R programming languages

You will be responsible for building and improving the models that keep us competitive in the market. You will work alongside the traders, software developers and our engineering scientist; you would learn, research, improve, test, and build our trading algorithms to increase trading profitability. A typical day involves applying rigorous scientific methods and machine learning techniques to a vast array of datasets in order to create insights on how the market behaves.
