As a Vendor Manager at Landal, you play an important role in shaping and optimizing our relationships with third-party technology vendors. You ensure that every external partnership not only aligns with our IT strategy but also maximizes value, drives innovation, and consistently meets contractual, financial, and performance expectations. Your work directly impacts the efficiency, reliability, and success of Landal’s technology ecosystem.
What you will do
Your responsibilities as a Vendor Manager at Landal include:
Strategic Alignment: establish decision making forums to evaluate technology choices holistically – considering architecture, cost, security and business impact;
Clear accountability: define structure processes for project intakes, prioritisation and delivery updates – reducing confusion and increasing ownership;
Risk reduction and control: implement framework to proactively manage risks, ensure compliance and support consistency;
Support the evaluation and selection of vendors aligned with technical and business requirements;
Track performance against contractual obligations and escalate non-compliance;
Establish regular review cycles with vendors to assess delivery, cost, and quality;
Maintain vendor scorecards and provide performance insights to IT leadership;
Monitor vendor spend against budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimization;
Mitigate risks by ensuring vendors adhere to company policies (e.g. data protection, security, compliance).
This is you
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience as a Vendor Manager (or equivalent);
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Finance, or related field;
Oversees strategic partnerships with Tier-1 vendors (cloud, infrastructure, software, or outsourced services);
Defines governance frameworks, performance scorecards (KPIs/SLAs/OLAs), and escalation models;
Leads enterprise-wide vendor strategy, segmentation, and lifecycle governance across complex, multi-vendor ecosystems;
Experience in spend optimisation and value realization models across supplier categories;
Expereince in design of total cost of ownership and return on investment models for strategic sourcing decisions.

A salary between € 4,800 and € 6,869 gross per month on a full-time basis*;
27 days' holiday for a full-time working week* with the option to purchase 10 additional days off;

Working from home allowance of €2,45 per home working day;
Training and education options;
Participation in the Recreation pension fund. The standard retirement date in this scheme is 67 years. The premium for this old-age pension is 21.8% of the pension basis, with Landal and you each paying half;

Various group insurance policies, including free continuous travel insurance for you and your family;
* A full-time employment contract at Landal has a 38-hour working week, which is equivalent to a 5-day working week. If you have a part-time employment contract, your salary and vacation days are calculated pro rata.
Unfortunately for this position we’re not able to support with a relocation or sponsoring a work visa in the Netherlands. Therefore, we can only consider applicants who are already residing in the Netherlands and hold a valid work permit.
