You lead multidisciplinary project teams and work closely with colleagues from Operations, IT, Maintenance, and external partners.In addition to leading new implementations, you will focus on modernization projects aimed at improving and future-proofing our existing equipment fleet. You ensure a structured project approach, monitor progress, budget, and quality, and effectively engage stakeholders.You report directly to the Head of Automation and, through your projects, make a direct contribution to the further digitization and efficiency of our terminal.APM Terminals Maasvlakte II is sinds april 2015 operationeel en heeft een duidelijk doel voor ogen: een veilige en vlekkeloze verbinding vormen tussen land en zee, waarlangs jaarlijks miljoenen containers hun weg vinden. Dit realiseren we door de inzet van de kennis, kunde en ervaring van onze collega's én door gebruik te maken van de meest geavanceerde technologie.Onze terminal behoort tot de modernste ter wereld. Zo worden de tien kranen langs de diepzeekade op afstand (remote) bestuurd en wordt ons elektrisch aangedreven equipment automatisch aangestuurd vanuit de control room. Dankzij deze technologie, in combinatie met het gebruik van groene energie, is MVII wereldwijd de eerste emissievrije terminal. Door volledig afgeschermde geautomatiseerde zones, waarbij mens en machine strikt gescheiden zijn, behoren we bovendien tot de veiligste terminals ter wereld.
