Delivery Partner specialist

Job Title: Logistic Delivery Partner & Sustainability Specialist – Last Mile Operations Location: Waddinxveen Department: Last Mile Operations Reports To: Delivery Partner Manager About the Role We are seeking a motivated Delivery Partner Specialist to support our last-mile delivery operations. You will play a key role in ensuring delivery partners operate efficiently, meet performance targets, and are supported in growing their capacity. This position also has an important role in helping the company reduce its carbon footprint by supporting the launch of electrified fleet initiatives and cargo bike projects. It is a hands-on role that provides experience in vendor/partner management, performance monitoring, operational optimization, and sustainable delivery initiatives, ideal for someone aspiring to grow into a managerial logistics or operations role.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner Performance & Support · Monitor delivery partner KPIs, including on-time delivery, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction; · Identify performance trends and work with partners to implement corrective actions; · Serve as the primary point of contact for operational issues and escalations; · Assist in resolving delivery challenges, including route delays, staffing gaps, or capacity bottlenecks;

Capacity Planning & Operational Optimization · Collaborate with partners to forecast capacity needs and adjust resources to meet delivery demand; · Support route planning, scheduling, and operational readiness for daily deliveries; · Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize partner performance; · Track and report operational metrics to management to guide decision-making;

Compensation & Contract Compliance · Assist in calculating and verifying partner compensation; · SLA compliance, and contractual agreements; · Support resolution of payment inquiries or discrepancies; · Ensure partners adhere to contractual obligations, policies, and safety standards; · Maintain accurate records of agreements, compensation, and performance-linked incentives Onboarding & Training; · Support onboarding of new delivery partners, introducing operational processes and systems; · Provide training guidance on performance expectations, reporting tools, and compliance requirements; · Help ensure smooth integration of partners into the delivery network;

Reporting & Data Analysis · Maintain dashboards and reports tracking delivery partner performance, capacity, and compensation; · Identify insights and trends to inform operational improvements and strategic initiatives; · Provide structured updates and performance tracking to the Delivery Partner Manager;

Fleet Electrification & Alternative Delivery · Support and coordinate the transition from gasoline vehicles to an electric fleet; · Assist in planning and rollout of charging infrastructure; · Monitor performance, cost impact, and environmental benefits of fleet changes; · Collaborate with partners to ensure adoption and operational readiness of alternative fleet options;

Cargo Bike Operations – Urban Deployment · Lead the launch of cargo bike delivery operations in high-density urban areas; · Identify and secure suitable micro/mini-hub locations within city centers; · Coordinate project rollout with delivery partners and internal operational teams; · Define operational processes and ensure readiness at launch; · Monitor performance metrics, including cost, service levels, productivity, and emissions impact; · Optimize the model based on operational feedback and performance data;

Requirements · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field; · 3–5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or vendor/partner support; ·

Fluent in Dutch and English

(spoken and written); · Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; · Excellent written and verbal communication skills; · Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders; · Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or logistics software; · Proactive and solution-oriented mindset;
