Senior Project Engineer – Industrial Construction Project (Netherlands) We are looking for Senior Technical Office Engineers to join a large-scale international industrial project located in the Netherlands, currently in the active construction phase. The role is suited to professionals with strong experience in site-based Technical Office functions, capable of coordinating engineering, construction, and subcontractors within a highly technical and multidisciplinary environment. Key responsibilities Technical Office and engineering management

Management of the Technical Office during the construction phase, acting as the main interface between site, engineering teams, and subcontractors. Review, coordination, and follow-up of designs developed by subcontractors, ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements. Management of design changes and site modifications, including technical impact analysis and coordination with all stakeholders. Ongoing technical liaison with the client, designers, and subcontractors.

Multidisciplinary coordination

Technical coordination across multiple disciplines, including: Civil and structural Mechanical Electrical, Instrumentation and Control (E& I / I& C) Ensuring proper integration of design solutions with on-site execution. Continuous technical support to construction teams.

BIM and digital environments

Close collaboration with BIM teams in the development of: Construction execution models As-built models Identification, reporting, and management of site issues, clashes, and changes within BIM environments. Use of digital platforms to ensure full technical traceability of the project.

Technical documentation and compliance

Management and control of all technical project documentation, including drawings, specifications, procedures, and records. Configuration control and tracking of document revisions. Preparation and submission of technical evidence to demonstrate compliance with contractual, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Candidate profile Education Bachelor's degree in Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (minimum bachelor level).

Experience

More than 5 years of experience in Technical Office roles within industrial construction projects, complex works, or site-based engineering services. Previous experience on international projects and/or in highly regulated environments is highly valued. Proven experience working on construction sites. Candidates with less than 3 years of experience will not be considered.

Languages English level B2–C1 (mandatory).

Software and tools

Advanced Auto CAD. BIM environments such as BIM 360. Document management platforms including Aconex, Viewpoint, or similar systems.
