About Harmony Automotive: Harmony Automotive is an authorised dealer of BYD, one of the world’s leading electric vehicle manufacturers. We are responsible for B2C sales operations across the entire Netherlands, delivering innovative, sustainable mobility solutions to private customers. As we continue to expand our footprint, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and scale our national retail sales performance.

Role Overview: The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving B2C sales performance across all Harmony Automotive BYD retail locations in the Netherlands. Based in Zaandam, this role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution, overseeing sales teams, optimising customer experience, and ensuring strong alignment with BYD brand standards and targets.

This is a key leadership role with full responsibility for achieving national sales objectives, developing high‑performing teams, and strengthening Harmony Automotive’s position in the Dutch EV market.

Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership & Performance

Lead and manage B2C sales operations across all BYD stores in the Netherlands

Define and execute national sales strategies aligned with BYD and Harmony Automotive objectives

Own national sales targets, forecasting, and performance tracking

Analyse sales data, market trends, and customer insights to optimise results

Team Management & Development

Recruit, train, coach, and motivate store‑level sales managers and sales consultants

Build a performance‑driven sales culture focused on customer satisfaction and conversion

Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans

Customer Experience & Brand Standards

Ensure an exceptional, consistent customer journey across all locations

Maintain strict adherence to BYD brand guidelines, retail standards, and compliance requirements

Actively improve lead management, test drive conversion, and order‑to‑delivery processes

Operations & Collaboration

Work closely with Marketing, After‑Sales, and Operations teams to maximise demand and conversion

Coordinate national campaigns, promotions, and product launches

Act as the main point of contact between Harmony Automotive and BYD for B2C sales matters

Market Growth

Monitor competitor activity and EV market developments in the Netherlands

Requirements & Qualifications:

Proven experience (5+ years) in automotive B2C sales, ideally in EV or premium brands

Previous experience in a sales management or regional/national leadership role

Strong understanding of retail automotive KPIs, CRM systems, and sales funnels

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical and forecasting abilities

Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)

Willingness to travel regularly across the Netherlands
