Site Supervisor

Are you an experienced Site Supervisor with a passion for complex electrical infrastructure projects?

As a Site Supervisor – Data Centers (Low & Medium Voltage), you take the lead on-site in delivering advanced electrical distribution systems for international data center projects. Based initially in Groningen, you play a key role in ensuring safe, structured, and high-quality project execution from installation through commissioning.

About the Company Our client is a global leader in smart infrastructure and energy distribution solutions. Within their dedicated Data Center division, multidisciplinary project teams deliver large-scale, hyper-scale data center infrastructure projects worldwide. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, commissioning teams, and subcontractors to execute technically advanced low and medium voltage installations. The department consists of experienced professionals across engineering, project management, procurement, QHSE, logistics, and commissioning, ensuring strong support throughout every project phase.

What Will You Do? Act as the on-site representative and primary point of contact for the project Coordinate daily installation and commissioning activities Lead and supervise small teams of installation and commissioning engineers Interface directly with the General Contractor and subcontractors Oversee installation of LV and MV systems, including switchgear, transformers, protection relays, automation and monitoring systems Manage planning changes and align execution with project objectives Monitor progress, quality, budget, and reporting on site Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, EHS standards, and technical guidelines Assess and mitigate technical, organizational, and contractual risks participate in project meetings and represent site operations in decision-making processes Maintain structured documentation, reporting, and claims administration

What Do You Bring? Degree or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field 3–5 years of experience in site supervision, site management, or coordination within LV/MV or industrial infrastructure projects Experience in installation and preferably commissioning of electrical distribution systems Experience leading small teams in a technical project environment Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders under pressure Safety-focused mindset with solid understanding of EHS standards Structured, organized, and administratively strong Willingness to work internationally and operate in a 3-weeks-on / 1-week-off rotation Valid European work authorization and driving license Business-fluent English (Dutch is an advantage) Experience with similar equipment and systems is a strong advantage
