Naval Designer

Function: In this role, you will help prepare foundation drawings so they can be used for onsite machining and installation. You will work on complex shipbuilding projects and collaborate closely with engineers, installation teams and suppliers.

Specific duties in this role include: Create machining and production drawings for foundations. Add machining details, bolt layouts, and grouting information to drawings. Work together with mechanical engineers, installation teams, and suppliers. Identify technical issues and discuss solutions with the team. Ensure drawings meet quality standards and are approved. Adjust to changing project needs and priorities.

Requirements: MBO-4 or higher education in an engineering-related field. At least 2 years of experience creating production or machining drawings. Experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Catia. Good command of the English language. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
