Safety Engineer/Consultant

G2 are partnering with an exciting client who are looking for a Safety Engineer/Consultant to join their growing team based in the Arnhem-Nijmegen region. They are looking for either permanent or freelance candidates for this position.

The client is an end client operator specialising in the highly regulated industries on power generation and research projects, and have a rapidly growing team with exciting development opportunities.

You will be working in a consultative capacity, working closely with engineering and project teams, interpreting and providing analysis on relevant licensing and safety requirements, a well as working with clients on best practice and safety principles.

Safety Engineer – Safety Consultant – Arnhem-Nijmegen Region – FREELANCE OR PERMANENT

Start date: ASAP Location: Arnhem-Nijmegen region, Netherlands Salary: €4,500 - €6,500 per month + 8% + bonus Rate: Competitive market rate Duration (freelance): 6-12 months

Essential Skills:

Working and educational background in highly regulated industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Nuclear, Chemical, etc. Experience working with safety standards, licensing and regulations for relevant highly regulated sectors Knowledge of Dutch legislation preferred, other European legislation also applicable Experience with consultative positions for clients and other teams from safety and certification perspective Fluent English speaking essential, Dutch beneficial
