Databricks Consultant

Next Ventures is currently looking for a Databricks expert to work on a project implementing a data lakehouse for one of the largest dutch financial institutions.

This is a freelance role and the candidate must be able to speak Dutch in a professional environment

Key Responsibilities Design and develop data pipelines using PySpark, Delta Lake, and Databricks Workflows. Implement ETL / ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data. Optimize Databricks clusters, jobs, and notebooks for performance and cost efficiency. Build data quality and observability frameworks using Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, and MLflow. Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD automation for Databricks deployment
