MLOps / Computer Vision Engineer
AI Start-Up | Amsterdam (Hybrid)

We are partnering with an innovative AI start-up that has developed automated vehicle inspection systems.
Their technology performs full vehicle assessments in under 10 seconds, detecting damage and maintenance needs across more than 180,000 cars.
Role
This is a new role created to meet project demand. You will focus on
ML workflows, data pipelines, and productionizing AI models , collaborating closely with the AI Lead and software teams. You will build models from scratch, deploy them in production, and make independent design decisions to optimize performance and scalability.
Key responsibilities:
Build, train, and deploy computer vision and ML models
Maintain and optimize ML workflows and data pipelines
Productionize models, ensuring reliability and scalability
Re-engineer existing models for performance and efficiency
Monitor model performance and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with AI researchers and software engineers to integrate models into production
Implement MLOps best practices to streamline deployment and monitoring
What we’re looking for:
Strong engineering background with hands-on ML/AI experience
Python expertise is required
Experience with MLOps, deploying and scaling ML models
Familiarity with cloud technologies, preferably AWS
Start-up experience or a flexible, innovative mindset
Ability to make independent technical and design decisions
Practical details:
Location: Amsterdam West, 3 days per week in office
Salary: €65,000 inclusive of holiday
33 days holiday
