Mechanical Engineer

Commissioning Engineer – Process / Gas Systems We’re supporting a growing engineering business in the biogas and CO₂ recovery sector as they expand their international commissioning team.

This is a site-led role with real ownership — taking industrial process systems from installation through to performance testing and final customer handover.

What you’ll do

Lead on-site commissioning activities

Oversee subcontractors and coordinate with customers

Execute cold &hot commissioning of gas / refrigeration systems

Drive performance testing and SAT

Manage mechanical completion and CE/PED documentation

Deliver operator training

What you’ll bring

3+ years’ industrial commissioning experience

Background in process, mechanical, refrigeration or gas systems

Knowledge of CE / PED / ATEX

Comfortable working independently on international sites

Fluent English and willingness to travel

This is a hands‑on, travel‑intensive role in a fast‑growing sustainability market.
