Pratt & Whitney Aero Engines International GmbH (PWAEI)
is an international aerospace company headquartered in Lucerne, Switzerland. PWAEI collaborates with three other aerospace companies to produce and maintain the V2500 commercial aircraft engine, which powers the Airbus A320ceo and Embraer C‑390 family of aircraft.
Pratt & Whitney Aero Engines International Services GmbH (PWAEIS) , located in Venlo, The Netherlands, manages the European Logistics Center (ELC) to support spare parts and production logistics for PWAEI and Pratt & Whitney. We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee the expansion and increased complexity of the ELC.
Areas of Responsibility
Implement the program diversification strategy at ELC, transforming it from a single-engine (V2500) distribution center to a multi-engine distribution center.
Deploy infrastructure & systems at ELC that can scale for multiple aerospace programs, handling increased volumes (annual outbound volumes expected to double in the next two years).
Lead the multimillion‑dollar GTF engine program introduction strategy at ELC.
Apply professional project management skills and techniques for the GTF program ELC introduction (e.g., stakeholder management, risk management).
Represent the ELC at all global strategy forums on the GTF program and other potential new programs.
Ensure that ELC continues to benchmark against all global distribution centers and implement “best in class” practices.
Apply CORE continuous improvement tools for problem solving.
Provide ad‑hoc support to operations and quality.
The role is within the Product Delivery & Customer Experience department, ensuring timely availability and delivery of parts from suppliers to customers. It is ideal for a hands‑on individual who combines warehousing, customs, systems and transport experience with the ability to drive structured, qualitative execution in a regulated aerospace environment. The position is predominantly performed on‑site in Venlo and requires occasional international travel. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the Netherlands.
