Community Associate - RIVVIA (Amsterdam)
Full-time / 40 hours | On-site | Community Associate. We’re looking for a charismatic Community Associate to join our Amsterdam team and be the first face our members see when they walk through RIVVIA's doors!
This role is ideal for someone with hospitality or reception experience who enjoys creating warm welcomes, staying organised, and being part of a close-knit team. What You'll Do
Open and prepare the space each morning — restocking pantries, setting the atmosphere, and ensuring every area meets RIVVIA's standard before the first member walks in
Review the day's bookings across all platforms, write up a daily brief covering tours, meeting room schedules, and visitor appointments, and action any outstanding tasks from the previous day's handover.
Communicate proactively with clients, responding to inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
Create a welcoming, community-driven environment that encourages members to return and engage regularly.
Be the first and last impression for every member, visitor, and prospective client — greeting warmly, conducting building tours, and handling all enquiries via phone, email, and in-person
Keep all communal areas, meeting rooms, and kitchenettes clean, stocked, and guest-ready throughout the day, anticipating member needs before they arise
Support member onboarding and proactively develop ideas for events and engagement that make RIVVIA feel like more than just an office
Perform regular walkthroughs across the day to maintain the space, flag any maintenance issues, and ensure health and safety standards are always met
Complete a thorough close-down each evening, including a handover document for the following day, so nothing falls through the cracks
Maintain open communication with the Operations Manager, reporting on stock levels, member feedback, and anything out of the ordinary
Support day to day operational activities across the building to ensure a smooth and seamless member experience
Assist in the planning, organisation, and execution of community events and member activations
What We're Looking For
Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within hospitality or reception
Comfortable using booking systems, managing emails, and handling phone inquiries
A confident multitasker who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
Someone who embodies RIVVIA's values: collaboration, professionalism, and positive energy
Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment

English fluency (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus!

This role is a 40 hour role, working Monday – Friday 8:00am – 17:00 on site at both our Keizersgracht 127 and Keizersgracht 264 locations.
