Service Technician

For our location in Vlissingen, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician with an electrical engineering background/education for the Technical Service department. What will you do? As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for the management and (preventive) maintenance of, among other things, electrical installations. You ensure that the installations under your responsibility are in optimal condition. In this role, you report to the Supervisor of the Technical Service department.

Responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining electrical installations, security systems, and fire alarm systems;

Ensuring that inspections and certifications are carried out on time;

Supervising and monitoring external maintenance contractors;

Maintaining and repairing fencing and power fences;

Managing and maintaining freezer doors, sectional doors, and high-speed doors;

Performing preventive maintenance on the above-mentioned installations;

Monitoring daily and periodic quality checks;

Ensuring correct and accurate administrative processing and maintaining logbooks;

Managing the stock of spare parts;

Purchasing required materials in consultation with the Technical Service Manager.

Requirements:

At least 3–5 years of experience as a Technician;

Completed MBO level 4 education in Electrical Engineering;

Affinity with refrigeration technology is an advantage;

Full-time availability and willingness to be on call (approximately once every 4–6 weeks, 24/7);

Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
