Overview
The Navion Project focuses on improving the autonomous navigation of robots in the agricultural sector. Hanze University of Applied Sciences is collaborating with various partners, each with their own challenges, such as indoor/outdoor navigation, irregular or flat terrain, connectivity, and the ability to accurately determine position. This project complements project 1 and is made up of several smaller projects and one project with a focus on indoor navigation.
Responsibilities
Research Questions
What are the practical differences between existing PPP and RTK solutions to remove RTK subscriptions?
Compare various LIDAR odometry systems.
What is the influence of antenna and receiver choice (type, setup) on the localization accuracy in a specific reflective indoor environment?
Deliverables
Implementation in simulation and real hardware, with test results.
A paper/report documenting methods, findings, and recommendations, including performance analysis.
GitHub repository with all the code and instructions to use it.
