About us: We are a growing ticketing platform startup based in Amsterdam. Our mission is to reshape the live events industry with technology that improves the experience for both organizers and customers. On the frontend, we focus on modern design, performance, and usability. Our web applications are built with React, Next.js, and Svelte 5, using shadcn/ui and TailwindCSS to create fast, scalable, and consistent interfaces. Our mobile apps are built with React Native, following the same design principles to ensure a smooth and user-friendly experience across platforms.

About the role: We’re looking for a

Senior Frontend Engineer

with a strong passion for building high-quality web applications and a particular interest in

Svelte . Svelte is a key part of our frontend strategy, and we’re actively investing in it for new development. At the same time, we maintain and evolve several

React-based

applications. This role is hands-on and technical. You’ll be expected to contribute at a senior level: shaping architecture, raising code quality, mentoring other engineers, and influencing frontend direction.

What you’ll do: Design, build, and maintain frontend applications using

Svelte

and

React Own and evolve frontend architecture with a focus on

performance ,

scalability , and

maintainability Drive best practices around

component design ,

state management , and

E2E testing Partner closely with

design ,

product , and

backend

teams to deliver polished user experiences Review code, provide constructive feedback, and mentor other frontend engineers Lead technical discussions and contribute to long-term frontend strategy Continuously improve developer experience, tooling, and workflows

What we’re looking for: 5+ years of professional experience as a

Frontend Engineer

(or equivalent) Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks, ideally

Svelte

and

React Proven ability to work on complex, production-grade frontend systems Deep understanding of

JavaScript ,

HTML , and

CSS Experience with frontend

performance optimization

and

accessibility Comfortable making architectural decisions and explaining trade-offs Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Experience setting up and maintaining

CI/CD pipelines

using

GitHub Actions

or similar tools to automate testing, builds, and deployments Demonstrated

production experience with Svelte , including building, deploying, and maintaining live applications using the framework Strong knowledge of

TypeScript

Nice to have: Experience with modern tooling such as

Vite ,

Rollup , or similar Experience building or maintaining

design systems Exposure to frontend testing strategies ( unit ,

integration ,

E2E )
