Direct message the job poster from EMEA Recruitment Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Global Procurement Category Head for Process Equipment, Electrical & Controls. This role is part of the Indirect Procurement leadership team and oversees a team of Sourcing professionals across multiple regions. You will drive strategic Sourcing initiatives, optimize supplier relationships, and deliver value through cost efficiency and process excellence. Key responsibilities of the Global Procurement Category Head: • Drive global Sourcing strategies for equipment, electrical, and controls • Improve Sourcing processes and foster a cost-focused culture • Leverage market insights and best practices in supplier management • Identify cost-saving opportunities through TCO and value engineering • Enhance supplier terms to support growth and profitability • Align Procurement plans with key internal stakeholders Experience: • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field • Solid background in Procurement or Operations within complex manufacturing environments • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions • Expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and contract management • Proven track record leading cross-functional and multi-cultural teams • Fluency in English Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we’re only able to contact those selected for the next stage of the process.
