We currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in driving growth across this strategically important market.
Reporting to the Country Manager (Nordics & Benelux), this is a high-impact, field-based role for an experienced business development professional who thrives on building relationships, shaping strategy, and closing complex opportunities within the electronic security and CCTV industry.
The Opportunity
As Business Developm e nt Manager for Netherlands, you will be responsible for originating, developing, and closing both existing and new business opportunities, while executing regional business development strategies that strengthen brand presence and accelerate revenue growth.
You will work closely with local and international Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Product Management teams to ensure optimal market positioning and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, consultants, and specifiers within the IP video security channel to promote the Hanwha brand and solutions
Drive sales growth by identifying market opportunities, influencing key decision-makers, and delivering against agreed targets and product mix objectives
Lead strategic sales planning (short- and medium-term), informed by market insight, sales workshops, and collaboration with Product Management
Provide market intelligence and recommendations on product positioning, marketing strategies, and go-to-market direction
Engage at senior level with major system integrators and key accounts
Conduct existing customer audits and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Support product launches, customer events, and marketing initiatives with commercial insight
Maintain a strong focus on margin, forecasting accuracy, budgets, and target achievement
This is a
r egional role and requires extensive travel.
What We’re Looking For
Proven success in a business development or sales role within a demanding, competitive environment
Strong experience in CCTV and electronic security technologies, including solution-based selling to end users and consultants
Solid knowledge of the electronic security market, routes to market, and key customer segments
Experience working for a CCTV manufacturer is advantageous, but not essential
Good understanding of network video systems and related technologies
Business or Technical degree preferred
Strong PC skills, including intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for growing brand presence
Ability to build trusted, long-term relationships internally and externally
Independent thinker with sound judgement and the ability to motivate teams
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills, including presenting at board level to blue-chip organisations
Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines
Fluent English plus Dutch or French (other local languages advantageous)
Clean driving licence
Location & Travel
This is a
field-based role , ideally located within the Benelux region. Regular travel across the territory is essential, with occasional travel outside the region as required.
