The Role This exciting opportunity joins the EMEA Madrid Claims Centre team as a Claims Processor. You will support local claims teams across the EMEA clusters by handling essential claims administrative tasks, ensuring accurate completion and tracking of system data, and delivering outstanding customer service. The role offers an entry point into commercial claims in a fast‑evolving environment with high exposure to the wider EMEA Claims Team. Full training and ongoing development are provided.

Key Responsibilities

Claims Processes & Practices

Ensure timely completion of daily tasks within SLAs using appropriate processes and best practices.

Identify and manage process exceptions in collaboration with the Team Leader and Operations Coordinators.

Focusing on Customers

Deliver high‑quality service to brokers and customers, anticipating their needs and ensuring claims tasks are completed accurately.

Support customers throughout the claims process with a customer‑centric approach.

Knowledge of Insurance Industry

Apply basic knowledge of commercial insurance (A&H, P&C classes, UW, or policy issuance) to claims processing tasks.

Stay current on insurance laws and market trends.

Knowledge of My Organization

Demonstrate understanding of Chubb’s systems and networks for collaboration across the EMEA Claims Team.

Leverage internal relationships to ensure smooth operations.

Knowledge of Products and Services

Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Chubb’s products and services to ensure claims align with plan features.

Provide accurate information for various claim types and standard settlements.

Data Quality / Integrity

Ensure claims data entry, file indexing, and documentation integrity across all systems.

Internal Development

Commit to personal development through coaching and on‑the‑job training.

Best Practice

Adhere to best practices outlined in the Madrid Claims Centre SOP(s) and EMEA claims regional processes.

Qualifications

Advanced level in English (C1) – requirement.

Native/Bilingual in Dutch – requirement.

Bachelor’s degree in law – preferred.

Basic knowledge of commercial insurance – preferred.

Strong time‑management and prioritization skills.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Tables).

Self‑motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
