Our client is the world's leading digital entertainment service and they are currently looking for an
Executive Department Assistant MEA Nonfiction Content (hybrid 3 days on-site, 40 hours)
in
Amsterdam .
We are seeking a Creative Assistant to support our content team based in Amsterdam to support our Series team.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, and able to pivot when necessary. This role will juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong organizational emphasis and unwavering attention to detail. This will be a demanding and fast-moving role that requires someone who is proactive and solution-oriented.

Duration of the assignment: 10 Months
Salary depending on experience: between € 4.250- € 4.600, - gross per month based on 40 hours; since we have a weekly payment system this will be between € 24.50-€ 26.50 gross per hour; excluding 8% holiday allowance, 25 vacation days, pension based on Stipp Basis (annually on a fulltime based); No travel allowance reimbursement!

Specific responsibilities:
Support creative lead by preparing presentations using Google slides
Tracking and communicating delivery dates, such as updating writing schedules
Attend notes calls and production kick-off meetings and distribute notes and action points
Coordinate logistics / technical set-up for content partner meetings
Heavy communication internally with cross-functional teams and externally with production companies, Producers, Writers and Directors
Pre-read creative materials providing summaries and thoughts to the team
Prepare reading lists for the creative team
Show initiative in finding new projects and strengthening current projects (cast, music etc)
The input of production data, such as pitches and submissions, into our internal systems
Support Team Leaders with ad hoc projects such as organizing and supporting events.
Manage complex calendars for multiple executives, including scheduling and confirming meetings both internally and externally.
Coordinate travel arrangements, both domestically and internationally
Be the team “master of tools” for both internal and external systems
Work collaboratively with Creative Assistants in our wider EMEA teams.
Qualifications:
Experienced Assistant supporting senior-level content executives or producers or experience with administrative roles with a background in the media industry.
Fluency in English (and Arabic is a plus)
Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
Technically minded with experience in mastering multiple systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Google Mail
Team player who operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
Prior experience reading scripts and providing coverage is preferred but not required
Ability to respond after hours for important, timely, or urgent matters

Position Overview
The Team Assistant - MEA Nonfiction Content will provide high-level administrative and operational support to our client's Nonfiction Content team focused on the Middle East & Africa region. This role is critical in enabling the team to work efficiently, stay organized, and deliver high-quality nonfiction content on time.
You will work closely with content leads, editors, producers, and cross-functional partners (such as marketing, legal, and analytics) to coordinate schedules, track workflows, support communication, and keep projects moving. This position reports to the
MEA Nonfiction Content
and will collaborate with both local content teams.
You are highly organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. You bring a service mindset, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in nonfiction content and the MEA region.
Responsibilities
Administrative & Calendar Management
Own complex calendar management for the MEA Nonfiction Content key team members, including scheduling meetings across time zones, arranging internal reviews, and coordinating with external stakeholders.
Meeting & Communication Support
Prepare agendas, take detailed notes, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up after team meetings, reviews, and cross-functional check-ins.
Help maintain clear communication channels within the team (Slack/Teams, email, internal docs).
Project & Workflow Coordination
Support tracking of content projects (from development through delivery) by updating trackers, timelines, and status documents.
Help coordinate deliverables with production, legal, marketing, and localization teams to keep projects on schedule.
Documentation & Information Management
Maintain organized digital filing systems, databases, and shared drives for contracts, decks, research, and other nonfiction content materials.
Assist in preparing presentations, overviews, and internal reports for leadership and cross-functional partners.
Logistics & Event Support
Coordinate logistics for internal workshops, team offsites, screenings, and talent/partner meetings (e.g., room bookings, travel coordination, basic catering and AV needs).
Support travel arrangements and expenses for team members when required.
General Team Support
Serve as the first point of contact for operational queries, helping onboard new team members, managing access/permissions, and supporting ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
Experience
in an administrative, team assistant, or coordination role, ideally within media, entertainment, publishing, or a similarly fast-paced, creative environment.
Organization & Attention to Detail
Proven ability to manage multiple calendars, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously with high accuracy and reliability.
Communication Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; able to communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Tools & Systems Proficiency
with office and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, Slack/Teams, Zoom, project tracking tools like Asana, Trello, or Airtable).
Ownership & Proactivity
Self-starter who anticipates needs, solves problems independently, and takes full ownership of responsibilities without needing constant direction.
Cultural Awareness & Discretion
Comfortable working with international teams and talent; able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Nice to Haves or Preferred Skills
Experience supporting content, production, editorial, or programming teams (especially nonfiction / documentary / factual content).
Experience with basic data tracking or reporting (e.g., using spreadsheets for status, metrics, or timelines).
Prior experience coordinating travel, events, or production logistics.
Comfort working in a rapidly scaling or startup-like environment, where processes are still evolving.
