Logistics Engineer - Tilburg

Contribute to achieving business goals (sales/profit) and creating continuous business opportunities by discovering new customers, systematically analyze customer requirements and market trends, and reflect analysis results to logistics products in a timely manner. Use sea, air, inland, express, and logistics centers to transport products to the designated place home and abroad at the designated time through the optimal transportation means and safely protect the core assets of customers and shippers through advanced prevention of logistics security accidents and prompt post-counteraction.

Role and Responsibilities Projects Coordinate and execute projects related to improvements in transport or warehouse processes, order creation and delivery processes in order to ensure that project targets are met Assist, support and execute the creation of project plans for new operations and/or implementation of new product groups in order to ensure that projects targets are met Present business cases to management to gain acceptance for proposed improvements and projects in order to improve business performance Participate in project team meetings as workstream lead in order to share information and keep all project members and workstream members updated

Process Improvement Analyze current transport and warehouse processes, order creation process and delivery process in order to determine improvement possibilities Analyze current IT systems (warehouse management system, transport management system) in order to determine improvement possibilities Initiate development and support implementation of new systems and processes Translate business needs into processes and system requirements in order to increase efficiency Act as a contact person for Account Management, RHQ, other SDS departments and customers in order to provide and gather information regarding process or system changes Share knowledge with internal contacts in order to increase visibility Gather information regarding new processes, IT systems or trends in order to have up to date knowledge Work according to standard SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)

Reporting Create business cases and ROI reports in order to reveal improvement possibilities regarding processes or systems Prepare project status updates with potential warning, successes and general overview for Senior Management in order to keep all stakeholders aligned and up to date

Skills and Qualifications Additional Job Description (Skills and Qualifications) Master or bachelor's degree in Logistics Minimum of 3 years in Logistics Warehouse engineering and business process design Transport and Warehouse Management Systems English in speaking and writing Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) Precise and accurate Critical thinker, pragmatic and data driven Experience with AutoCAD drawing and warehouse layout creation Experience with warehouse automation Willingness to travel between different locations
