Cloud Engineer

Cloud Engineer (Dutch speaking) We are looking for Dutch-speaking engineers with a strong Computer Science or Engineering background who want to grow into a Cloud Engineer role within a modern, production-grade cloud environment.

About the role Our partner organization is modernizing and strengthening its cloud landscape. The focus lies on building and improving a robust, scalable and secure cloud foundation that supports development teams and business-critical applications.

You will be part of a cloud team responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and platform components. Think of topics such as:

Infrastructure as Code Secure cloud networking Scalable compute environments Automation and reliability Governance and best practices

You will collaborate closely with software engineers, platform engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the cloud environment is stable, future-proof and ready for continuous innovation.

The Xccelerated Program – Cloud Engineering You work

4 days per week

as a Cloud Engineer at one of our partner organizations, contributing directly to real production environments. Every

Friday

is dedicated to your development: advanced cloud training, architecture deep dives and hands-on guidance from experienced Tech Leads. You strengthen your knowledge of cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code, automation, security and engineering best practices. By combining real responsibility with continuous technical coaching, you accelerate faster than in a traditional junior-to-medior path. After successfully completing the first year, you transition into

direct employment

with the client, fully prepared to operate as an independent Cloud Engineer.

As a Cloud Engineer you will: ✅ Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure ✅ Work with Infrastructure as Code (for example Terraform or ARM/Bicep) ✅ Contribute to scalable, secure and reliable cloud environments ✅ Automate infrastructure and improve operational excellence ✅ Collaborate with development teams to enable smooth cloud adoption

This is you You are analytically strong, technically curious and eager to take ownership. You enjoy understanding how systems work under the hood and want to build infrastructure that others can rely on.

In addition: ✅ You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field ✅ You have 1–2 years of relevant experience within IT (for example as Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer or Junior Cloud Engineer) ✅ You have hands-on experience with AWS or Azure ✅ You understand core cloud concepts such as networking, IAM and compute services ✅ You have experience with scripting or programming (for example Python, Bash or similar) ✅ You are fluent in Dutch

Our 13-month advanced training programs combine hands-on client work with in-depth technical development. You work four days per week at a partner organization and dedicate one day to structured technical growth under guidance of senior engineers.

After the program, you join the partner organization permanently.
