Sales Engineer – Water Management Koenders Instruments

Responsibilities

Acquire new projects within the Water work area.

Maintain relationships with municipalities, water authorities, drinking water companies, provinces, contractors, nature organizations, research institutions and consulting agencies.

Translate customer needs into solutions, provide advisory services, issue quotations and follow up on them.

Sell a range of solutions, from components such as sensors and data loggers to turnkey monitoring solutions and large‑scale groundwater or sewer monitoring networks.

Work collaboratively with the commercial manager and a team of engineers and measurement technicians, leveraging technical knowledge in sensor, installation and ICT to achieve commercial success.

Qualifications

Minimum HBO work and thinking level with a technical or commercial degree.

3–5 years of experience in a commercial inside or outside sales role.

Customer‑focused, proactive and results‑driven.

Independent and initiative‑driven.

Excellent communication skills.

Highly accurate and structured work style.

Valid driver's licence B.

Residence within approximately 40 km of Almere.

Salary €4,000 – €6,500 OTE gross per month (full‑time contract, based on knowledge and experience; increases with development).
