Voorman WTB (Kaag) Royal Van Lent Shipyards in Kaag builds unique superyachts up to 100 meters, fully custom for our clients. These yachts are known for their innovation, beauty and reliability.

Salary: €3,200 – €4,800; Hours: 32 – 40 hrs; Location: Kaag (also work in Rotterdam area).

As Voorman WTB you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of ship machinery systems aboard the machine room of the superyachts. The mechanical engineering department consists of about 50 staff, including a lead production, production planner, technical team leader and various craftsmen, assemblers and temporary staff. Together we ensure every superyacht leaving the yard meets the highest quality requirements and is safe and reliable for all seas.

You will work extensively with our suppliers (co‑builders) in the Rotterdam region.

Dit breng je mee

Minimaal een afgeronde MBO‑3 of MBO‑4 opleiding richting metaalbewerking, mechanische techniek of een soortgelijke richting.

5 jaar relevante aansturende/coördinerende ervaring van een technisch team in een productieomgeving.

Het kunnen lezen van complexe technische tekeningen (3D).

Goede communicatieve en coördinerende vaardigheden.

Bij voorkeur een VCA voor operationeel leidinggevende (VOL) diploma of de bereidheid deze te halen.

Vaardigheid in het lezen en interpreteren van technische tekeningen.

Handigheid met software (MS Outlook, Word…)

Acquisitie is niet gewenst bij deze vacature.
