What you’ll do
Play a leading role in architecting, developing, and optimizing our cloud-based data platforms and pipelines.
Collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and innovative data solutions.
Take ownership of complex technical challenges, continuously improve our data infrastructure, and help ensure Eneco’s data capabilities remain at the forefront of the energy sector.
Is this about you?
5+ years of experience as a Data or Software Engineer.
Proficiency in ETL/ELT, orchestration, warehousing, monitoring and alerting, system design and architecture, data modeling, governance, quality, access control, and documentation.
Strong software engineering best practices: code reviews, version control, CI/CD, incident management, and DevOps principles.
Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Beam, Flink, Kafka), SQL and NoSQL databases.
Hands‑on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Kubernetes, and cloud deployments (preferably Azure).
Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Grafana).
You’ll be responsible for
Supporting Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts by preparing and making high‑quality data easily accessible.
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and discuss project requirements.
Architecting, designing and implementing data platforms and solutions to efficiently handle, store, process, and utilize data from various sources.
Deploying, monitoring, and managing pipelines and applications in production.
Writing well‑documented code and reviewing code from colleagues.
Providing technical guidance and mentoring to other engineers.
What we have to offer
Gross annual salary between €82,000 and €115,000.
FlexBudget, 8 % holiday allowance, and a bonus or collective profit sharing depending on your role.
Hybrid working: 40 % office, 40 % home, and 20 % flexible; up to 3 weeks abroad per year.
