Project and senior engineer

OverviewProject and Senior Engineers are responsible for leading engineering teams that design and implement customer automation projects. If you do not meet all the qualifications but still feel that you would be a good fit in this role, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities Owns and leads the technical aspects of projects with small to medium sized teams Assists Project Manager in identifying changes in project scope and developing change orders Translates functional requirements to system configuration Designs control system network architectures and control strategies Serves as a technical contact for customers Programs controllers and configures automation equipment Selects automation equipment and instrumentation Designs electrical control cabinets and panels with support from CAD technicians Tests the system configuration to verify functions Travels to client site for project meetings and system verifications

Skills Thorough understanding of control system design and coding Self-motivated, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with people

QualificationsRequired Qualifications Professional level English (C1, C2, or Native) Engineering Degree (MBO, HBO, MS, or BS) Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Computer or Engineering Technology or related degree 3+ years of experience in automation As a minimum, you must be proficient on one or more of the following platforms: Inductive Automation Ignition Rockwell Control Logix/Compact Logix, Plant PAx, or Factory Talk Emerson Delta V Schneider Electric Modicon PLCs, Eco Struxure, Power SCADA, Power Monitoring Expert (PME) National Instruments Lab VIEW Siemens S7, PCS7, or Win CC Or similar IT, automation, or MES platform

Preferred Qualifications 2+ Years in project management, including project financials 2+ Years leading technical projects and engineering teams Entry level Dutch (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, or Native)
