Job Description Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Assurance Supervisor to support our Data Center Construction team. The ideal individual will have prior experience supporting large-scale construction projects.

Role Responsibilities

Effectively manage and collaborate with project stakeholders.

Communicate across our internal team to ensure efficiency and consistent delivery to the client.

Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.

Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized.

Ensure application of best practice on all projects.

Produce formal project status reports and other reports as required.

Monitor progress of multiple construction projects to ensure approved design standards are applied correctly.

Manage interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.

Manage flow of project information through regular meetings and written communications.

Forecast and update key project milestones.

Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria.

Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders.

Respond rapidly to RFIs from the field.

Provide expertise on cost control, value engineering and constructability guidance where required.

Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers.

Support client management – assist in developing excellent working relationships to maximize opportunities.

Strategic thinking – advise project teams on approaches to achieve client and business objectives.

Knowledge management – capture key information and learnings from each project.

Process improvement – identify ways to improve internal systems and processes.

SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, where applicable.

Program Responsibilities

Cross‑functional collaboration with stakeholders including the Client QA team, Cx Agent, GC and trade partners, AE team and equipment vendors.

Chair and manage quality control meetings including stakeholder kickoff, weekly maintenance meetings and a culminating scope‑completion meeting.

Track RFIs and drive issue resolution.

Issue weekly reporting and escalations.

Provide weekly GC schedule reviews, issue comments and solution‑based feedback.

Coordinate inspections with trade partners and local AHJ.

Verify observation closures.

Collect and manage handover documentation.

Collaborate on final commissioning.

Develop lessons‑learned documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical engineering or an equivalent field.

Minimum 5‑7 years of relevant project management experience, specifically with electrical systems in the built environment.

Strong organizational and management skills with ability to work collaboratively.

Background in design or construction with electrical or EPMS controls experience.

Background in vendor equipment factory supporting quality control processes of electrical equipment.

Background in commissioning of electrical systems and equipment in mission‑critical industry.

Proficiency managing construction documents (BODs, specifications, contract drawings, C/D/E’s, equipment submittals and RFIs).

Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, Project, Smartsheet and other construction project management tools.
