Overview As our Electrical & Avionics Systems Engineer you will be part of the ELAV team. This team consists of engineers with various experiences and backgrounds. The team is located at Woensdrecht and Hoofddorp and your prime location will be Hoofddorp. The ELAV Team Lead will be your manager and coach.

Responsibilities

Design, development, integration/introduction, and monitoring of electrical systems and avionics.

Work closely with key stakeholders such as Product Management, Project Leaders, the Design Organization, and line management. Engage with indirect stakeholders including vendors and customers.

Developing of modifications to the aircraft design in accordance with customer and airworthiness requirements.

Monitoring of new technologies, selection of potential applications and translation into concept designs.

Defining of system and project requirements and supporting product management.

System integration and the creation of research, test, and system specification.

Supporting system and aircraft tests.

Preparation, review, and approval of certification reports.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s or master’s Degree, or equivalent, in Engineering on electrical systems or avionics or related.

A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.

Knowledge of system design and safety assessments. Familiar with Do178/160/254 design processes, qualification norms, EASA/ FAA CS25/FAR25 and aeronautical standards.

Affinity with aircraft design and operations and other aircraft systems.
