The Opportunity

A Netherlands-based private equity firm is preparing the launch of its

second fund

and is expanding its investment team. The firm specializes in

turnaround and transformation situations , combining hands-on operational improvement with disciplined investing.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys being

close to the business , not just at deal level but throughout execution and value creation.

The Role

You will work across the full investment lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on

post-investment execution and operational improvement . The role sits at the intersection of investing and operations and offers significant exposure to real transformation situations.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting origination, analysis, and execution of turnaround and special situations investments Working closely with portfolio company management teams to

implement operational and strategic improvement measures Contributing to restructuring initiatives (financial, legal, and organizational) Monitoring portfolio performance and driving hands-on value creation Developing a deep understanding of turnaround mechanics over time

The Ideal Profile

Solid understanding of

investing fundamentals

(PE, M&A, restructuring, consulting, or similar background) Operational mindset

with experience or strong interest in implementing change within businesses Curious and motivated to learn the

full turnaround toolkit

(financial, legal, and organizational aspects) Pragmatic, hands-on, and comfortable working in complex or imperfect situations Fluent in English and

Dutch
