The Opportunity We are seeking a seasoned Program Director to lead a multi-year digital transformation across the Property & Casualty insurance landscape. This individual will be responsible for shaping and delivering a harmonised platform strategy that supports all relevant business lines, embedding modernised processes, technology, and operating models.

This role requires someone who has not only led complex global initiatives but has also worked directly with C-suite stakeholders to drive alignment between strategic intent and execution.

Key Accountabilities Strategic Program Leadership

Own and direct a multi-year, business-critical transformation program from design through implementation.

Define, steer, and continuously adjust program strategy and roadmap in alignment with senior sponsors and enterprise objectives.

Oversee sequencing of roll-outs across insurance products and technology assets, ensuring maximum business value and adoption.

Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

Act as the senior liaison between the program and executive leadership, reporting regularly to C-suite sponsors and Board committees.

Build trusted relationships across business, technology, and finance functions, ensuring buy-in and joint accountability.

Chair program governance forums and present clear recommendations on risks, dependencies, and investment decisions.

Architecture & Delivery Control

Ensure target architecture aligns with strategic business outcomes and remains adaptable to evolving priorities.

Govern solution scope, integration, and change requests to balance enterprise needs with delivery discipline.

Lead a coordinated delivery approach across internal teams and vendor partners, monitoring performance and escalating issues where required.

Implementation Oversight & Change Adoption

Drive delivery of transformation streams across multiple insurance lines, ensuring cohesion and alignment.

Lead and mentor program managers, product owners, and delivery leads globally and locally.

Develop and execute a clear change and communications strategy to engage stakeholders and support adoption.

Capability & Long-Term Impact

Embed best-practice program management disciplines and strengthen internal transformation capability.

Leave a sustainable legacy by codifying lessons learned and enabling the organisation to manage future transformations independently.

Your Experience

Extensive experience as Program Director or equivalent senior role within the insurance sector (P&C mandatory).

Demonstrable success in global digital transformation, spanning multiple markets and geographies.

Strong command of enterprise platform delivery and multi-vendor solution landscapes.

Track record of direct engagement with C-suite executives, presenting at Board level, and driving alignment on strategic decisions.

Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance business value, technology complexity, and delivery risk.
