Cloudflare is operating as a platform and blends the demarcation of individual product suites to create value by combining solutions from different parts of the portfolio. You will work as a critical member of our Specialist Team, acting as a spider in the web between Sales, Pre-Sales, Network Strategy, Engineering and Product management to ensure novel use cases are well understood inside the sales organization, positioned with the customer, and secured within product, engineering and support teams. You will operate in the customer environment to help ensure these use cases can run stably. You have an interest in diving deep into the Cloudflare platform and are determined to resolve technical challenges. You will build a broad internal network to drive outcomes and contribute to new motions in areas with limited defined processes. A trusted technical advisor will help clients find the best solution for their business with a focus on Cloudflare’s cross-platform use cases. Guide qualified prospects through the Solution Design, showcasing Cloudflare’s Platform capabilities. Drive Proof of Concept stages of the sales cycle with hands-on engagement, debugging capabilities, and clear internal/external communication. Collaborate with Sales Partners to consistently achieve Pipeline and Revenue goals. Capture clients’ requirements, design optimized Cloudflare solutions, and communicate benefits, potential challenges, and migration paths. Support technical discussions to ensure sound design and overcome objections. Support go-to-market efforts through writing blogs and other reference materials, public speaking, user groups and conference attendance. Skill Requirements

Strong curiosity and learning agility. 5–8 years of prior technical sales, computer engineering, or related experience. Comfort operating across the full Cloudflare portfolio and platform. Solid technical understanding of systems and network architecture and engineering. Fundamental understanding of customer networks and application architectures. Understanding of Internet infrastructure (BGP, ASNs, DNS, GRE, Peering and Transit, PNIs). Routing and switching fundamentals (GRE, IPSec, Subnetting, Prefix terminology, MSS/MTU, VLANs, VRRP, Spanning Tree, Anycast). Experience with hybrid architectures (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). SASE and Zero Trust Networking concepts ( Secure Web Gateway, CASB, DLP, DNS, IdP/authentication, SAML, OTP). Experience with SaaS integration, VPN/remote access, and Cloudflare platform components (WAF, Bot Management, DDOS, Firewall, DNS, CDN). Hands-on lab/PoC capability and comfort with API-based provisioning (REST/JSON, Terraform) and scripting (e.g., Python). Understanding of SIEM and log analytics platforms. Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Willingness to travel up to 20%. Other desirable skills

Experience building a web application and ability to discuss design decisions. Experience debugging/troubleshooting the Cloudflare platform. Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CEH, OSCP).
