About the role As

Manager Technology and Development (mfd) , you are responsible for leading, structuring, and further developing the technical organization. You play a key role in future-proofing our service organization, with a strong focus on innovation, data, and digitalization. A major focus within this role is the strategic further development of the Remote Monitoring Center (RMC). In addition, you translate customer feedback, field information, and data analyses into structural technical improvements, product development, and knowledge sharing within international teams. This position sits at the intersection of technology, strategy, and innovation and has a direct impact on quality, efficiency, and commercial growth.

Your tasks Technical Development Lead technical development initiatives aimed at structural quality improvement of products and services Translate customer feedback and recurring technical issues into concrete improvement actions and development priorities Develop and implement technical training programs for service and installation technicians, with international knowledge sharing as a core principle Stimulate best-practice exchange between countries and teams Work closely with the Innovation Manager to align innovations with customer needs and market developments Optimize service locations based on technical analyses and data insights from our local RMC Provide technical input for presentations to key accounts together with account management

Remote Monitoring Center (RMC) Drive the strategic development and scaling of the RMC Leverage AI and digital solutions to enhance monitoring, diagnostics, and support capabilities Act as a technical sparring partner and advisor for the RMC team, focusing on automation, scalability, and data-driven decision-making

Authorities Lead technical project teams and (indirectly) the RMC Initiate and prioritize strategic technical initiatives Develop and safeguard the technical roadmap in collaboration with other departments Select technologies, platforms, and external partners for remote monitoring and technical development

What do you bring? Strong technical expertise, preferably in (industrial) refrigeration technology and/or heating technology Leadership experience is a plus Experience working in a project-based environment and translating vision into concrete initiatives Strong analytical skills; ability to convert data into insights and technical solutions Affinity with business development and formulating technical proposals that contribute to commercial growth Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to easily switch between technical teams, management, and international stakeholders Fluent in Dutch and English Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
