IT ServiceNow Developer

Day To Day
Develop, configure, and optimize the ServiceNow platform with a strong focus on CSDM, CMDB, and automation.
Design scalable and future‑proof ServiceNow solutions, ensuring seamless integrations with other systems.
Ensure data integrity and governance within the CMDB, supporting enterprise‑wide IT processes.
Lead technical improvements, analyzing how new developments fit into the existing platform landscape.
Implement best practices for data modeling and platform configuration, ensuring long‑term stability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into efficient and sustainable solutions.
Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and minimize manual intervention.
Provide expert‑level troubleshooting and guidance on complex ServiceNow challenges.
Stay ahead of trends, applying best practices in ServiceNow platform management and enterprise IT architecture.

Essentials
We are looking for a technical expert with a problem‑solving mindset and a strategic approach. The ideal candidate has:
5+ years of hands‑on experience in ServiceNow development and platform optimization.
Strong expertise in CSDM (Common Service Data Model) and CMDB (Configuration Management Database), including data modeling and governance.
A deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned with best practices.
Experience designing end‑to‑end integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, APIs).
Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, and automation frameworks.
A strong strategic and analytical mindset, capable of assessing and improving platform efficiency.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex issues. Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
A valid permanent work permit for the Netherlands.
Preferred Certifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (Required)
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (Preferred)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM, ITOM, or CSDM (Highly Preferred)
ITIL Foundation Certification (Preferred)
