Senior / Lead QA Automation Engineer – Remote in the Netherlands - Up to €90K

Remote in NL | Automation First This is not a maintenance role. You will redesign how QA works. We are hiring a Lead QA Automation Engineer for a large scale European digital platform. The organisation has recently restructured and is raising the technical bar. Quality needs to move from manual dependency to automation first. You will own that transition.

What you will do • Lead a team of 3 QA engineers • Build and scale Cypress or Playwright automation • Expand regression coverage across critical product flows • Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines • Drive developer ownership of testing • Define automation standards and measurable quality metrics This is a hands on leadership role. You will not just manage. You will build.

What you bring • 5+ years experience in QA automation • Strong hands on Cypress experience • Experience introducing or scaling Playwright is a plus • Proven CI/CD integration experience • Experience leading or mentoring engineers • Ability to influence developers and stakeholders Must be based in the Netherlands.
