As a Junior RF Application and Characterization Engineer, you will play an important role in bringing Altum RF’s high‑frequency GaAs and GaN products to market and supporting their successful design‑in with European customers.
This role is ideal for a starting engineer with a strong interest in RF/analog electronics who enjoys working in a dynamic, innovative, and entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
·
Design, simulate, and lay out application and evaluation circuits
·
Provide customer application support
·
Create assembly drawings, BOMs, and outline drawings
·
Design circuit boards, fixtures, and hardware for loose‑part testing
·
Support and assist in RF production test development
·
Perform calibration and measurements using RF and microwave test equipment
·
Conduct prototype evaluations and analyze measurement data
·
Write datasheets, application notes, and other technical documentation
Job qualifications
·
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Physics
·
Hands‑on mindset, strong communication skills, and willingness to support adjacent disciplines
·
Ability and willingness to travel (~10%, mainly within Europe)
·
Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus
