Social Media Manager

Do you believe that something should be done against the racism experienced by Asians in the Netherlands? Do you also enjoy managing different social media platforms? And would you like to build an (online) community? Then this role is for you!

Iamprofiled wants to use positivity and creativity to make the Dutch aware of racism against Asians in the Netherlands. Because this is often a subject that people prefer to avoid, iamprofiled wants to make it as light and accessible as possible for discussion. We do this by organizing various events (both physical and online) and placing social media content on various platforms. Together with the team we work on a project basis on the events or the creation of content.

Iamprofiled is currently mainly active on Instagram. With your help, we want to achieve an even greater reach on Instagram, but also on YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn. Ideas for other social media platforms? We leave you completely free in that.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the growth strategy for various social media platforms

Create and post content on social media

Interact with the community through social media

Participate in various projects

Qualifications

You are good at organizing

You can write Dutch well

4-8 hours a week available (flexible to schedule)

What we offer Unfortunately, as a non‑profit organization we do not (yet) have a budget to reimburse you. We do offer you the following:

Making a social contribution to an inclusive society

Work remotely (our team outings are physical)

Training (for now sharing knowledge among team members, but we would like to set up training courses from external parties)
