Workshop Supervisor - Den Helder, Netherlands Full-time

The Workshop Supervisor is hands‑on and responsible for ensuring the workshop is safely managed and operated, and that all Pressure Control and Handling equipment are serviced as per applicable procedures, specifications and specified requirements, within the current safety rules.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform as a Team player, delegating tasks and establishing work schedules.

Maintain products to the highest company standard.

Service all Pressure Control and Handling equipment, performing pressure testing, and maintain accurate records for customer reporting.

Collaborate with the Operations Supervisor to prepare and maintain all inspection history records of tools and products.

Perform periodic checks and testing of all rental equipment as required, and maintain records.

Ensure that tools and equipment are properly functioning and inspected.

Ensure all products, items and equipment conform to related standards, legal and contractual requirements.

Collaborate with the Operations Supervisor to plan and schedule preventive maintenance of equipment.

Hold responsibility for the entire recordkeeping of workshop inventory and liaise with the Operations Supervisor when procurement is required.

Record the “pre” and “post” rental method statements, supporting with pictures.

Ensure all products reach the customer in a fit‑for‑purpose condition.

Improve safety, productivity and performance efficiency of the workshop.

Perform daily, weekly, monthly and yearly planned preventive maintenance for forklifts, overhead crane, compressor(s) and other auxiliary equipment while recording these in line with the company’s IMS system.

Perform additional duties as required, either on a permanent or temporary basis within the area of responsibility, to fulfil the company’s needs.

Ensure work is carried out in compliance with company Quality, Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.

Do not undertake any task for which authorization and/or training has not been given.

Ensure the highest standard of workmanship produced is in accordance with company expectations, customer, regulatory standards and specification.

Promote good health, safety, and environmental practices throughout all company activities.

Wear the assigned Personal Protective Equipment required.

Take care to prevent harm to self, colleagues and others and the environment that may be caused by our acts or omissions.

Keep the work area neat, organized & free of trips and other hazards.

Report hazards in plant, equipment and other workplace, or shortcomings in the existing controls, to a superior without delay.

Support continual improvement of the integrated management system by expressing better and safer ways to perform tasks and improve policies and procedures.

Participate in HSEQ training required to meet minimum identified for position undertaken.

Attend Toolbox Talks, HSEQ meetings and training as and when required.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Education / Qualification:

College diploma or equivalent level of qualification.

Ability to drive a forklift up to and including 5 tons.

Experience:

Five years’ practical experience in the oil and gas industry.

Technical Skills:

Good knowledge of Pressure Control and Handling Equipment.

Good knowledge of Operational and maintenance procedures including pressure testing.

Awareness of API specification standards.

Administrative Skills:

Ability to delegate tasks and allocate work.

Ability to performance manage direct reports; set targets, monitor performance, and deal effectively with performance issues.

Skilled in conflict resolution.

Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management.
