QHSE Manager

Our client is looking for a proactive, detail-driven QHSE Manager to strengthen their Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental framework and help drive measurable safety and compliance performance across their operations.

The Role As QHSE Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that operations meet the highest standards of safety, environmental responsibility, and quality compliance within the Dutch regulatory framework. This is a hands‑on role with strong operational impact. You will act as a key advisor to management, ensuring the business operates safely, efficiently, and in line with legal and certification requirements.

Key Responsibilities Manage and continuously improve QHSE documentation systems Ensure compliance with Dutch laws and environmental regulations Lead and maintain ISO management systems and Weeelabex standards Drive internal audits and compliance controls Monitor and improve EHS KPIs Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations Translate data into measurable safety and performance improvements

What you'll need Proven experience in QHSE within recycling, waste management, logistics, or industrial environments Strong knowledge of Dutch health, safety, and environmental legislation Experience managing ISO systems (9001 / 14001 / 45001) Experience with Weeelabex standards is highly desirable Internal auditor certification is a plus
